Doris Jean Royer

Mrs. Doris Jean Steele Royer, age 94, of East Bend passed away on Saturday August 10, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Royer was born on July 29, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Georgia Steele Davis.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband William H. Royer.

She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Winston Salem.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters Diane Elizabeth Royer of East Bend and Rebecca Jean (Richard) Turner of Reno, NV; and two grandchildren Jordan Steele Vance of Delray Beach, FL and Brooke Elizabeth Vance of Fort Myers, FL.

A graveside service for Mrs. Royer will be held on Thursday August 15, 2019 at 11am at East Bend Baptist Church Cemetery with John Shields officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Huff Funeral Home.
