Doris (Wooten) Foster

Mrs. Doris Foster, age 90 passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center.

Mrs. Foster was born on December 30, 1927 in Yadkin County to the late Clyde Wooten and Blanche Hunt Wooten.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Chester Foster; one son Rex Foster; three brothers; and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Cathy (Bobby) Carter of East Bend; one son Donnie Foster of East Bend; one grandson Christopher (Jennifer) Foster; daughter-in-law Jackie Foster, and a special friend Lori Fowler.

A funeral service for Mrs. Foster will be held on Thursday February 22, 2018 at 11am at Forbush Friends Meeting with the Rev. Ray Lambe and Rev. Bert Mathis officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday night from 6pm-8pm at Huff Funeral Home.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Forbush Friends Meeting Building Fund.
