Mrs. Brenda Stanley, age 35, of Jonesville passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at her home. She was born on January 20, 1984 in Surry County to Jerry Powell Sr. and Rose Mary Smoot. In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are a Stepfather Teddy Smoot; Stepmother Cheryl Powell; three sons Trishtian Stanley, Isaac Stanley, and Xander Stanley; a daughter Nevaeh Stanley; two brothers Jerry Powell Jr. and wife Linda, James Powell and wife Shannon; one sister Jessica Reavis and husband Scott; and a special uncle Gary Lineberry. A funeral service for Mrs. Stanley will be held Tuesday June 4, 2019 at 2 PM at Huff Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Pickett Officiating. Burial will follow in Welcome Valley Church Cemetery. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Huff Funeral Home.
