Mr. Benjamin Michael Hedrick, age 24 of Boonville passed away on Thursday August 24, 2017.

Mr. Hedrick was born on March 9, 1993 in Forsyth County to James Hedrick and Emily Ijames Brown.

In addition to his parents those left to cherish his memory are his father Shane Brown of Boonville; a son Darren Hedrick of East Bend; a brother Cody Brown and girlfriend Chelsea Brackett of Statesville; a sister Kayla Brown and boyfriend Aubrey Edwards of Boonville; a brother Brandon Hedrick of Greensboro; two grandfathers Gary Hedrick of Greensboro and Dennis Ijames of Mocksville; a grandmother Yvonne Ijames of Mocksville; two great-grandmothers Reba Russell of Greensboro and Landa Brown of East Bend; one uncle Bryan Brown of Boonville; two aunts Suzonne Stratton and husband Mike of Winston Salem and Daria Joyce of High Point.

A funeral service for Mr. Hedrick will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at 6pm at New Union United Methodist Church in Mocksville with the Pastor Eric Lineberry officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 6pm-8pm at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the New Union United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or to Celebrate Recovery at Pinedale Christian Church in Winston Salem.
