Mr. Roy Hunter, age 79 of East Bend passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Hunter was born on June 28, 1937 to the late Luther Hunter and Nellie Bullin Hunter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Anita Hunter and three sisters Carol Kiger, Treva Cleary, and Rachel Brooks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving fiancé Cheryl Williamson of the home; two sons Ricky (Jan) Hunter of Walkertown and Timothy (Kay) Hunter of China Grove; two daughters Deborah (Jimmy) Taylor of King and Kimberly (Marshall) Haynes of Yadkinville; two brothers Lonnie (Mitzi) Hunter of Advance and Steve (Robin) Hunter of Hamptonville; three sisters Louise (John) Wiedenhoft of Courtney, Faye (Norman) Bergeron of Courtney, and Peggy (Junior) Hutchens of Courtney; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

A celebration of life for Mr. Hunter will be held on Saturday May 27,  2017 from 11am-1pm at Huff Funeral Home.
