Mrs. Peggy Patterson, age 77, of East Bend passed away on Monday November 6, 2017.

Mrs. Patterson was born on July 28, 1940 in Wilkes County to the late Raymond Dowell and Eva Smith Dowell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Kim Lakey; two grand-daughters Rhonda and Alisha; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 31 years Wayne Patterson of the home; one son David (Vicki) Allgood of Yadkinville; one daughter Tammy Baity of Raleigh; four grandchildren Josh, Michael, Turner, and Grant; and four great-grandchildren Adrienne, Carter, Shelby, and Mia.

A funeral service for Mrs. Patterson will be held on Thursday November 9, 2017 at 2pm at Faith Community Baptist Church with the Pastor Brian Poindexter and Pastor Connor Hathfield officiating.  Burial will follow in Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 8, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Huff Funeral Home.
