Mrs. Mazie Griffin, age 90 of Advance passed away on Saturday December 31, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Griffin was born on February 23, 1926 to the late Thurmond Waddell and Nora Absher Waddell.

In addition to her parents, she was peceded in death by her beloved husband Ray Griffin.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter Sharron Whisenant of Advance; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; five step great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend.

A funeral service for Mrs. Griffin will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 3pm at Huff Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.  The family will recieve friends from 2pm-3pm on Tuesday prior to the service.
