Mrs. Mary Lee Eldridge Vogler, 77, of Winston-Salem, passed away on December 26, 2017 at her home.

She was a loving and devoted pastor’s wife. Together they assisted many elderly friends and family throughout their ministry. They celebrated 60 years of marriage on March 31.

She showed unconditional love for her girls, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her prayer was for all her children and grandchildren to be saved and live for the Lord. She lived by example and was a faithful servant.

Mrs. Vogler was born on December 24, 1940 to the late Haston and Mongielee Wiles Eldridge in Elkin, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Tina Harn.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her loving husband, Charles Vogler of the home; three daughters Deborah Mayfield (Jerry)  of Andros Island, Bahamas, Elizabeth Culler of Winston-Salem, and Karen Brown (Marty) of Asheboro;  brother Johnny Eldridge of East Bend; sister Carolyn Hooker (Don) of Greensboro; eight grandchildren Christopher Rapisardi, Cheryl Rapisardi, Gregory Rapisardi (Nicole), Mark Greene, David Greene, Andrew Dancy, Daniel Brown, and Gracie Brown; and nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Vogler will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Mt. Bethel Church Rd, East Bend with Pastor Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pfafftown, NC. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm prior to funeral services.
