Mary Frances Adams, 89, of East Bend, went to her heavenly home on January 20, 2016 at the Yadkin Nursing Center.

She was born in Yadkin County on September 14, 1926 to Francis and Dema Hutchens.

She was a homemaker devoted to her family. She was a member of East Bend Friends Meeting and loved her Lord with great passion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Buford Adams.

She is survived by a sister, Hazel Moser of Rural Hall; a son, Larry (Judith) Adams of East Bend, a daughter Robin (Pete) Gough of Yadkinville; four grandchildren, Shannon (Angie) Adams, Eric (Rena) Adams, Megan (Brandon) Senter and Kacey (David) Renegar and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Mrs. Adams will be held at 2 pm on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Huff Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Choplin officiating. Burial will follow at East Bend Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to East Bend Friends Cemetery Fund.

The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolias Over Yadkin and the Yadkin Valley Nursing Care Center for the love and care given to Mary.
