Mr. John Samuel "JS" Fletcher, age 77 of Yadkinville passed away on Friday December 30, 2016 at Forysth Medical Center.

Mr. Fletcher was born on September 12, 1939 in Yadkin County to the late Paul Fletcher and Adelene Hutchens Fletcher.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fletcher was also preceded in death by three brothers Jerry Fletcher, Melvin Fletcher, and Richard Fletcher.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Vexie Fletcher of the home; two sons Samuel Fletcher and Brian (Rhonda) Fletcher both of East Bend; a daughter Lisa Hall of East Bend; four stepchildren Johnny Marler of Statesville, Bridget Marler of Forsyth County, Travis (Lenita) Martin of State Road, and Misty (Tony) Couch of Yadkinville; five brothers Waymie Fletcher of King, Gary Fletcher of Tobaccoville, Jim (Bobbie) Fletcher of Tobaccoville, Donnie Fletcher of East Bend, and Ronnie Fletcher of East Bend; one sister Nancy "Sis" Fletcher of East Bend; eleven grandchildren Jackie Sue, Matthew, Keith, Richelle, Brittany, Zachary, Harley, Tanner, Taylor, Brianna, Sam; and four great- grandchildren Tallia, Eva, Glenn Jr., and Landon.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Fletcher will be held on Monday January 2, 2017 at 3pm at Huff Funeral Home.  Burial with full military honors by VFW Post 10346 will follow in the East Bend Evangelical Methodist Church Cemetery.  The Family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service at Huff Funeral Home.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huff Funeral Home PO Box 237 East Bend, NC 27018 to help with funeral expenses.
