Mr. Jimmy Gray Hutchens, age 65 of East Bend passed away on Friday June 19th, 2015 in Bristol, Tennessee.
Mr. Hutchens was born on June 28th, 1949 in Surry County to Cora Wooten Hutchens and the late Charlie Hutchens.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Rachel Evans.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years Linda Hutchens of the home; mother Cora Wooten Hutchens of East Bend; a son Luke Hutchens of East Bend; a daughter Tracy Hutchens Call and husband Chad of North Wilkesboro; two brothers Ralph Hutchens and Jerry Hutchens and wife Ann both of East Bend; two sisters Ruth Johnston and husband Larry of East Bend and Rhonda Davis and husband Benford of Yadkinville; and three grandchildren Sarah Hutchens, Avery Call, and Bristol Call.
A funeral service for Mr. Hutchens will be held on Tuesday June 23rd, 2015 at Forbush Friends at 2pm with the Rev. Michael Thames and Rev. Andy Lambert officiating. Burial with full military honors by VFW Post 10346 will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at Huff Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forbush Friends building fund.
