Mr. Derric Todd Long, age 45 of Winston Salem passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Long was born on February 4, 1972 in Forsyth County to Thomas Long and Jacqueline Kimber Speaks.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Long.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Jacqueline Speaks and step-father Robin Speaks Sr. of East Bend; a son Masee Q. Long of Davidson; a step-brother Robin Speaks Jr. of Yadkinville; and a step-sister Tracel Speaks of Yadkinville.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Long will be held on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 1pm at Huff Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. James Grant and Rev. Theodore Dobson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
