Brenda Leigh Shore Brown, 71, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

She was born in Yadkin County on January 13, 1944 to the late Gray H. and Hazel M. Shore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Frances Shore Hobson.

Survivors include her husband, James F. Brown of the home, son Kevin G. Owens of Reidsville, a sister Janet Matthews and husband Rick of Boonville, and a brother Harold D. Shore and wife Robin of Boonville.

In order to honor her wishes, there will be no public viewing or formal visitation.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery, on Nebo Rd, Boonville, on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11 am with Hospice Chaplin Mark Brown officiating.

Brenda’s family would like to thank Mt. Valley Hospice for their care and compassion.
