Bobby Benford Davis, 83, of Yadkinville, was called home by God on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. He was a loving father, Pa Paw and great-grand Pa Paw.

He was born on March 23, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late William Fred and Sallie Geneva Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Betty Adams Davis, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are two sons Roger Lynn Davis of the home, and Benford Lee Davis and wife Rhonda of Yadkinville, two grandchildren Shelly Davis Brown and husband Vance of Mocksville, and Adam Lee Davis of Yadkinville, and one great-grandson Charlie Vance Brown, and awaiting the birth of precious great-granddaughter in November, one sister Rebecca Ann Long of East Bend, and one brother Howard June Davis of East Bend.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Union Cross Friends Meeting. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Pastors Robin Dixon and Nelson Puffenbarger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Cross Friends Cemetery Fund.
