Mrs. Betty Lyon, age 80 of East Bend passed away on Saturday April 29, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Lyon was born on July 28, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Wilford Finney and Ila Bryant Finney.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 56 years Norman Lyon of the home; two sons Terry (Denise) and Darrell (Pam) Lyon both of East Bend; one sister Carol (Robert) Bray of Hamptonville; six grandchildren Blake, Brandon, Jordan, Lynden, Emily, and Moira; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Lyon will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 12pm at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend with the Pastor Brandon Fielder officiating.  Burial will follow in East Bend Friends Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 11am-12pm on Monday prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice.
