Ann Baldwin Horn was born on October 21, 1933 and died on August 11, 2016, in Wilmington, North Carolina at 82 years of age. She was a native of East Bend, North Carolina, but had lived most of her life in Carolina Beach and Wilmington.

Ann was predeceased by her parents, Azariah Horn and Nancy Ethel Morgan Horn and her sister, Margaret Jo H. Cave. She is survived by a cousin Jack Horn (Lucille), several nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Nancy Rush of Wilmington.

Ann was originally a member of East Bend Baptist Church, and continued as a faithful Christian in several congregations in Carolina Beach and Wilmington.

In spite of living with handicaps, Ann enjoyed her life. She was always ready to go to a favorite barbecue restaurant, play with her dog, and attend church functions. She leaves behind many friends who remember her fondly.

A graveside service will be held on Monday August 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at East Bend Baptist Church in East Bend, NC. Memorials may be made to East Bend Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
